LEARN WITH CONFIDENCE

Know how your campus works.

JengaStack brings university communities together to practise, explain and improve. Read each event’s published rules before entering.

Your weekly journey

  1. Complete your profile and join the community running the event.
  2. Read the event, challenge requirements and deadlines. Prepare the tools you need.
  3. Register, investigate the evidence and explain your own reasoning.
  4. Read reviewer feedback and request clarification privately when needed.
  5. After the challenge closes, study the write-up and practise again. Practice does not change frozen competition scores.

Weekly entry and payments

The planned entry fee is compulsory KSh 50 per person per weekly event, covering its challenges and hints. There are no individual challenge purchases.

Live payments are pending IntaSend account verification and integration. Current preview registration does not collect or confirm a payment. A registration or screenshot is not a payment receipt. Payment confirmation, receipts and failure recovery must be tested before paid entry opens.

Fair learning and recognition

Submit work you understand and can explain. Follow the organiser’s tool and AI policy. Do not share live flags, submit another person’s answers, or attack systems outside an explicitly authorised challenge environment.

For reviewed event challenges, technical work contributes up to 40%, reasoning 35% and the follow-up task 25%. Project work needs human review. The introductory arena is separate and uses its own simple scoring.

Cash awards exist only where an event explicitly advertises a budget and featured track. Other recognition does not promise cash. Read the event’s judging and tie rules; organiser review is required before awards are final. Referrals and optional donations do not buy score or ranking advantages.

Personalised flags reduce answer sharing but cannot guarantee that cheating is prevented. Organisers should assess the explanation and follow-up, not just a matching answer.

Feedback and marking questions

Reviewed submissions show organiser feedback. Use private learning support to explain what you tried and ask about unclear feedback or a marking concern. Include the challenge title and the specific point you want reviewed. A request does not automatically change a score or extend a deadline.

Your profile and privacy

Your public display name, campus and contributions can appear in rankings, discussions and recognition. Your account email is not displayed in those public views. Choose a nickname you are comfortable making public.

Authorised organisers can access participant and submission information needed to run their community; platform owners have wider administrative access. Private help requests and financial records have access controls. Helper contact details appear only when you choose to share them in the community hub.

Authentication and uploaded files use Supabase; application records use Cloudflare. Joining an embedded video session connects to the external meeting provider. Optional organiser AI polishing sends selected draft text to its provider.

To request account deletion or a correction, contact the platform owner privately through WhatsApp. Deletion currently requires an owner review; there is no automatic deletion button. The owner should explain any records that need to be retained before carrying out the request. Never send passwords, API keys or live flags.

Notifications and community conduct

Notifications appear while you use the site; they are not SMS, email or background push alerts. You can pause notification polling on this device from the bell panel. Check event deadlines yourself as well.

Keep comments short, respectful and relevant. Do not post personal contact details without permission, harassment, credentials or live answers. Report bugs or misconduct privately to the owner through the support form.
